This project is a custom shipment and order tracking system designed for a business importing products from China to Sri Lanka.
The platform enables the company to manage client orders, track shipment batches, update order status, and collect payments, all from a centralized web dashboard.
Clients can log in to their accounts to place order requests, upload payment proofs, and check shipment progress in real time.
The admin panel allows the business to batch orders by shipment, update cargo arrival details, calculate charges, and verify payments.
Developed using Laravel, Bootstrap, and jQuery, the system provides a streamlined workflow and transparent tracking process, reducing customer inquiries and improving operational efficiency.
Clients can submit order requests directly through the system, upload product details, and check live updates on their shipment progress.
Admin can group multiple orders into shipment batches (e.g., container or air cargo). Each shipment includes arrival date, cost breakdown, weight/volume, and delivery status.
Clients can upload payment proof (receipt/transfer slip), and admins can verify or reject transactions. Provides full payment history, pending notifications, and charge calculations.
Real-time order status updates (Pending, Shipped, In Transit, Arrived, Ready for Pickup). Clients receive instant visibility without needing to contact the business.
